1 · Mint your FRDM-ID in 3 minutes
A FRDM-ID is your soulbound (non-transferable) membership credential. Each one carries:
- A sequential member number — Founder = #1, then #2, #3…
- A membership tier — Member or Leader, set by your donation
- Voting power — one FRDM-ID, one vote in DAO governance

Step by step
- Get a wallet. MetaMask (most popular), Coinbase Wallet (simplest), or Rainbow (mobile). On a phone, open this page inside your wallet app's browser.
- Get free testnet ETH on Optimism Sepolia: Alchemy OP Sepolia faucet (free account). Paste your wallet address, claim, wait a minute.
- Go to /mint, connect your wallet (it will switch you to the right network automatically), pick your tier, confirm. One transaction: donation + membership.
- You are Member #X. Your number is permanent and public on the member directory.
2 · Join the community
- Join the FREEDAM Discord. New arrivals start in #welcome.
- Get verified. DM a mod your wallet address (or your explorer link from the mint page). We check it on-chain and assign your Member or Leader role — that unlocks the rest of the server.
- Introduce yourself in #general: what brought you here, what you want to build.
- Read the rules. Non-partisan at the protocol level. One person, one membership. Running a bot or agent? Disclose it — see the Code of Conduct.

Governance
FREEDAM votes on Snapshot (off-chain, gasless — you just sign a message). FRDM-ID holders decide constitution amendments, strategy, and development priorities. Proposals are discussed in Discord #governance and voted in the Snapshot space (link goes live with our first proposal — watch #info).
